This upcoming album, "SELECTION ~ 25th Anniversary Self Selection ~" is the first album for which Sachiko and Shoko selected the songs for themselves; it is a collection of the best 13 songs that each selected from among all the songs released up to date. The booklet to the album is to contain liner notes for all the songs as well.

The two of them formed Wink in 1988. In April of that year, they made their debut with "SUGAR BABY LOVE", and again in 1989 released "Ai ga Tomaranai (Turn It Into Love)". That same year, they won the Japan Record Award (1989) for their song "Samishii Nettaigyo". In March of 1996, they put a halt on their activities, but in December of 2008 their team made a comeback to the music scene after winning the Japan Record Award (2008) for the third time.

Shoko Aida's Best Song Selection, "Song Selection ~ 25th Celebration ~" will also be released at the same time. This selection is also comprised of songs handpicked by Shoko Aida, and includes a booklet with liner notes to all the songs as well.
