YOSHIKI's classical album "YOSHIKI CLASSICAL," went on sale in Japan from September 25, but was available for digital purchase worldwide starting on September 24. The album has become number one on classical charts in nine different countries, mainly in Asia.
The album became number one on the classical charts in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Macau, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Finland. The album reached number two in Norway, number six in Australia, number ten in France, number fourteen in Switzerland, number forty-four in England, number sixteen in Russia, number twelve in the Philippines, and number 38 in Indonesia. Even though the album has just been released, it has already appeared on charts, and there are indications that the album can still climb higher.
The album began presale in Canada on August 25, and it also reached number one on the Canadian classical charts and number two on the American classical charts. It seems like a YOSHIKI whirlwind is taking over the world.
The album has eleven tracks, including "Anniversary," which he performed at an event in honor the tenth anniversary of the emperor's reign, "I'll Be Your Love," which was the official image song for the Japan's 2005 World Exhibition, and the "Golden Globe Theme," which has been talked about all over the world. It will surely appear on the Japanese charts as well.
