Ryuichi Sakamoto’s song, “Blu”, is a collaboration song with “YOHUKU NO Aoyama”

Ryuichi Sakamoto’s <Ryuichi Sakamoto Playing the Orchestra>, in which he played piano and conducted the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra in playing new arrangements of his songs, has come to a close. However, “Blu”, which was played for the first time at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space, is a collaboration song with “YOHUKU NO Aoyama”.

The song is part of Aoyama SHOUJI’s 50th anniversary that it will celebrate in May 2014. The catch phrase for this collaboration with Ryuichi Sakamoto is “New Professional New Suits”.

“SAIKO NO SHIGOTO” (The ultimate work) is the keyword for this collaboration in which Sakamoto produced the concert and song. Sakamoto played “Blu” (blue in Italian) for the first time at the “AOYAMA Presents” concert at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space.

Sakamoto wore a “YOHUKU NO Aoyama” suit during the concert, and it will go on sale as the “Ryuichi Sakamoto” model this autumn.

Concert footage will be used in the TV commercial that will be shown after May.
